This is the latest version of the 40mm Distagon lens, as it is still in production for Rollei 6000 series cameras and Hasselblad.

Compared to the older version, this lens is much smaller, weights a pound less and comes with floating elements to improve close up quality. This lens was designed with HFT and does not come with regular coating.
The 40mm f 4 FLE Distagon HFT lens is characterized by extremely well corrected distortion and superb sharpness from center to corner.
